After the 2nd season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, dissolved into “Danielle Staub versus The Rest” Bravo decided to freshen both the cast and the storylines by bringing in Teresa’s sister-in-law Melissa Gorga (who’s married to Teresa’s brother Joe Gorga) as well as Teresa’s cousin, Kathy Wakile. Thus RHoNJ which started with 3 representatives of the Manzo family morphed to have three from Teresa’s. This 3rd season featured the lives of Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Jacqueline Laurita, Caroline Manzo & Kathy Wakile and is set in and around Franklin Lakes, NJ.
originally scheduled to air Monday nights at 9pm it was moved to Sunday’s at 10pm from the 5th episode where it remained for the rest of the season.
