Coinciding with the return of ‘WWHL‘ for its 7th season, the eighth episode of ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey‘ stormed to a 16% growth in viewers over last week’s episode and a massive 18% in the ad coveted 18-49 demo, with 2,654,000 viewers and 1.3 in the 18-49 demo.
At 11pm Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe, from RHoNJ, joined Andy as he returned from his ‘Most Talkative’ book tour and they too reached a great audience with 1,705,000 viewers tuning in and scoring 0.8 in the 18-49 demo. In the 6th season of ‘WWHL‘, which ran between Jan 8th, 2012 & May 31st, 2012 the top rated show was Caroline Manzo’s appearance on April, 22nd show with 1,856,000 and Melissa Gorga and her husband, Joe came in second with 1,734,000, so I am sure that Teresa might just be a little ticked that she didn’t beat them. While Teresa and Melissa both appeared with their RHW spouses, Caroline did not. Caroline probably got a boost from the other guest–28 y/o Khloe Kardashian who has 7.5+ million twitter followers and a thriving media career. Who would more likely pull the 18-49 y/o demographic? Bring Mr. Manzo on with the missus for comparable RHW/Bravo fan ratings.
I think alot of Teresa fans avoid WWHL because Andy is quite biased. If he was more supportive, just think of the ratings.
