Late yesterday afternoon Bravo Public Relations issued a press release (which is posted in full below) stating that Teresa & Joe Giudice’s appearance on Sunday night’s ‘WWHL’ was the… and I quote….”BRAVO’S “WATCH WHAT HAPPENS LIVE” EARNS HIGHEST RATED PREMIERE OF THE SERIES WITH OVER 1.7 MILLION TOTAL VIEWERS” and that is 100% correct.
The season premiere of Season 6 which aired on Sunday January 8th, 2012 and starred Kandi Burruss and ?eustlove scored 1,037,000 viewers, hence the press release going on to state that this week’s 1,705.000 viewers was “a double digit increase (64 percent and 59 percent respectively) compared to the season six premiere (1/8/12).” and that is correct.
Season 6 of ‘WWHL’ had 91 episodes 19 of which scored 1m+ in viewers you can see the Top 20 here but here are the top five.

Most people only watch Andy Cohen when he has Real Housewives as guests.
Despite the fact that Andy wants to be mainstream, we are not interested in Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa!
Andy needs to go back to his “roots”.
Sharon, the ratings certainly attest to the fact that WWHL rates best when it acts as a ‘Real Housewives’ post game show. You only have to look at the Top 20 rated shows of WWHL of its 6th season, to see how much those ratings are influenced by either Housewives as guests or when the show immediately follows an Housewives episode. Bravo PR can include all the bold face names in their press release who have appeared in WWHL, but you won’t find many of their names in the top rated episodes.
