Tough scheduling for Rosie This week

Poor ol’ Rosie Pope faced a double whammy from the Bravo TV schedulers this week. First they let her 8th episode of Pregnant in Heels be the sole Bravo original programming to air on July 4th eve, and instead of its usual strong lead-in (RHOC) it only had a ‘Social Edition’ of a Real Housewives’ clip show – The Real Housewives Top 20 Reunion Moments – which had first aired on June 21st.

After recording both a season and series high last week Pregnant In Heels lost over 57% of that audience plunging from 951,000 viewers down to 406,000; and that’s both a season AND series low. Her 18-49 demo was 0.2% down from last week’s 0.40, and while that normally spells trouble for Cable shows in prime-time, I’m sure this week will be overlooked due to it airing on a holiday eve.

Earlier, at 9pm the ‘Social Edition’ of The Real Housewives Top 20 Reunion Moments aired and it rated slightly higher scoring 480,000 viewers, also with 0.20 in the 18-49 demo. This just shows the value of the Housewives‘ archive to Bravo and here’s an hour’s television presumably free of talent fees that costs them little to a fraction of the production costs of Pregnant in Heels and it gets the same if not better ratings.
