Following on from the first season of Kathy, Bravo has scheduled a new Kathy Griffin comedy special to air July 26th. When we checked the Bravo TV schedule for this week’s weekly projections article, Bravo had scheduled a repeat of Kathy’s 2010 special “Whores on Crutches’ for his Thursday July 12th, at 10/9c Bravo, however upon checking just now, we see that it’s been moved to 11.30pm. A repeat of the 7th season RHOC finale takes over the 10pm slot, as we’re guessing that both Bravo & Andy Cohen realize that without a strong lead-in at 10pm on Thursday’s, that night’s WWHL just doesn’t score that many viewers. Let’s face it, the ratings for the debut season of Kathy’s talk show were so tepid and disappointing it makes sense for them to rejig this Thursday’s schedule. This is the 2nd time this week Bravo have made scheduling changes.

However a NEW Kathy comedy special will air July 26th, called Kathy Griffin: Seaman 1st Class does get the 10pm time slot on that Thursday. Since 2004, Kathy Griffin has had her comedy specials air on Bravo and below you can see the ratings for the seven that have aired since 2009. There is a marked difference in the ratings for the four that aired last year as they averaged just 686,250 with 0.30 in the 18-49 demo, which is not too dissimilar to the 2012 season of her talk show which averaged 721,417 with 0.35
