On Sunday night the RHoNJ cast & crew traipsed to a tradeshow, an ice cream parlor and a concert venue in the name of business promotion, resulting in an episode that felt like an hour-long advertisement. Nevertheless, the ads came with a healthy side of drama and flatulence, so all was not lost. In fact this ended up being the fourth highest rated episode of the 12 that have aired so far and was significantly higher than our forecast of 2.2-2.4m with 2,642,000 viewers tuning in and scored 1.20% in the 18-49 demo. That helped push this season’s average back above 2.5m keeping it more or less level with both seasons 2 (0.4% down) & 3 (1.5% down).

At 11pm Kathy Wakile was joined by Vanessa Williams for WWHL, and they sizably out-rated the previous Sunday’s edition of WWHL that featured Melissa Gorga & Mike Tyson. Kathy & Vanessa scored 102,000 more viewers with a total of 1,494,000 viewers (18-49 Demo was 1.20%), and while that was certainly helped by the increase of RHoNJ’s audience this week, Kathy also managed to retain a higher percentage than MeGo did. Does that mean Vanessa Williams was a bigger draw to Bravo audiences than Iron Mike? Anyway we expected this Sunday’s WWHL to only score 1.0-1.2m viewers and so at least for this day of the week, we well underestimated the ratings. If you’re wondering how well we’ll do for our Monday estimates? Check back later today at around 6pm EDT.
