Bravo Ratings for Tuesday July 17th, 2012 – RHOC (rpt),Pregnant in Heels & WWHL

Last night, the finale of the second season of Pregnant in Heels aired and what better way to end the season, than with a new beginning from the host herself, as Rosie Pope and husband Daron welcomed their new daughter Vivienne. Sadly though and largely due to a scheduling change by Bravo executives to boost the flagging 5th season of RHoNY, only 633,000 viewers tuned in and that was the second lowest ratings of this 2nd season. Last week 815,000 viewers tuned in and so that drop of 182,000 was presumably not worth the 95,000 that RHoNY gained Monday by switching the RHOC Reunion part 2 from Tuesday to Monday.

Despite that last episode reduction, Rosie Pope’s 2nd season averaged 722,400 viewers with 0.35% of the 18-49 demo, a growth in total audience of 20.80% over season 1, and a smaller 7.69% increase in the demo.

Earlier at 9/8c a repeat of the 2nd part of the RHOC Reunion aired gaining an additional 1,128,000 on top of the 1,941,000 who watched Monday at 8/7c. Just in case you missed either airing both parts 1 and 2 will air again this Thursday from 9/8c prior to WWHL.

Again last night’s WWHL didn’t make the Cable Top 100 shows, so I’m afraid we’ve no ratings to report.

Rosie is not a breath of fresh air. Rosie is just as bad as any other of the women of Bravo you talk about below. She might not fight like some housewives but she is a fame monger that will do anything for air time. Case in point….who has their baby in an induced delivery set to coincide with Mother’s Day and the premiere of her 2nd (hopefully last season)…Oh and tweets the entire delivery details to the disgust of most people? Answer: Someone who is sick enough to use thier new born baby as a public relations tool. Not sure how much lower you can go to try to extend your 15 minutes.

I really enjoy PIHS!! I am soo burnt out on NY, NJ and OC turned into a huge bully fest which is getting to be a reaccuring thing at the reunions. Love shows like Rosie, any Jeff Lewis, WWHL, even the little retail store. I think Bravo needs to slowly replacing the HW shows as the ratings decline. Dont waste money on another season when you can show these other shows and you just may hit a jackpot like Two and a half men. I will still watch BH, ATL and NJ only out of support for Tresa Guidice! Tamra Barney and Heather Dubrow ruined it for me. I almost didnt watch this season but when Gretchen joined the Mean Girls Club, I didnt even watch after the attack they did on vacation. I watch tv to enjoy it not to see people crying from others on the same show. Rosie is a breath of fresh air. Really hope Bravo listens to the ratings on the HWs……. need some new stuff and please no more chef shows.

You may have the number on Pregnant in Heels however they did not make the cable 100 either. WWHL will have its up and downs based on guests. If Pregnant in Heels can’t stand on it’s own it should be cancelled. Just because they didn’t get thier lead in is no excuse for them not to make the top 100. PIH only got renewed b/c of the SNL spoof and that was a huge mistake. There are better programs out there that should be aired.
