Ratings Relief for
the RHoNY Ladies

Finally some ratings relief for the RHoNY ladies (as well as Bravo TV execs) as the 8th episode delivered the 2nd highest audience after the premiere episode. For last night’s 9/8c airing 1,507,000 viewers tuned in and as important the 18-49 demo climbed up to 0.70. Hopefully with that larger audience seeing the extended season trailer tacked onto the end of the episode, they will have had their interest piqued and will continue to tune in each week. As it turns out the season upon season average continued its slide as the comparable episode in Season 4 was set in Morocco and was watched by just under 2.3m.

Season to date, the 5th season is now averaging 1,441,000 versus season four’s; 1,915,125, a drop of 24.76%. The 18-49 demo is down 34.25% from 0.91 to 0.60 and therefore as its fair to assume that advertising revenue is similarly down. At least though this most recent episode has trended up, let’s just hope that trend continues for both the original as well as the new cast members.

The cast of Miss Advised had their own double bill last night as Julia Allison, Emily Morse, & Amy Laurent joined Andy Cohen for WWHL after their 6th episode aired at 10/9c. We don’t yet have ratings for either Miss Advised or WWHL will be update this report as soon as we do.

UPDATE – July 25th, 2012

Monday’s episode of Miss Advised hit a season high with 700,000 viewers but still just scoring another 0.30 in the 18-49 demo. That is a gain of 83,000 or 13% compared with the previous week. With RHoNY having gained 8% (113,000 viewers) week-on-week, that meant that Miss Advised retained 46% of its RHoNY lead-in. That mid 40′s percentage lead-in has been consistent for the last 3 episodes which just shows how important increasing RHoNY’s audience is, not to just RHoNY but the The Miss Advised cast as well. Still no figures for Julia, Emily & Amy’s WWHL clubhouse appearance.
