The loooooooongest season ever of the Real Housewives of Orange County finally concluded last night as the ‘Lost Footage’ AKA episode 23 of the 7th season aired. Season 6 including two reunion episodes and a lost footage totaled just 16 episodes, and so Bravo got an extra seven hours of original programming out of the RHOC ladies this season. Lost Footage episodes historically don’t rate that well as presumably the footage was ‘lost’ i.e. not good enough for the main season, for a reason. However last night still pulled 1,420,000 viewers with a 18-49 demo of 0.70. The comparable episode of last season garnered 1,530,000, but with all those extra hours that Bravo squeezed out of their Orange County wives, they have no reason to be disappointed.

After RHOC was over at 10/9c, Love Broker which aired episodes 1 & 2 back in March, when it had Bethenny Ever After as a lead-in, finally debuted its 3rd episode. And with 134 days between episodes, we think that’s a new record for Bravo. Bravo programming execs pulled it from the air, as its first 2 episodes rated poorly, in the mid 400k’s with just 0.20 demo figures, and last night it sort of, improved on that. 523,000 watched episode 3 and it scored 0.30 in the 18-49 demo. However, when it followed BGM it had a much smaller lead-in than even the RHOC Lost Footage episode provided but it managed to hold on to 45% of BEA’s audience. Although it rated better in total viewers last night, it only retained 36% if its RHOC lead-in and I’ve already heard rumors from inside Bravo that it might get pulled from the schedules yet again and this time for good. Honestly, it doesn’t seem like a bad show, but perhaps the audience are treating it as stale left-overs and turning up their nose. I’m sure Bravo will give it another week but with only a RHoNJ repeat as its 9pm lead-in next week, it now has to stand on it’s own to feet and show that Love Broker isn’t broken.
