Bravo Ratings for Sunday July 29th, 2012 – RHoNJ and WWHL

The Real Housewives of New Jersey
scored season low ratings this week

Sunday night saw episode 14 of this season of RHoNJ and at Bravo Ratings we’re wondering whether it was the Olympics or just general RH ennui that pushed this episode to season low ratings of just 2,068,000 viewers with 1.0 in the 18-49 demo. The Napa trip kicked off with them leaving during Hurricane Irene and enjoying competitive shopping and fashion parades, to be continued. That’s the lowest rated episode of RHoNJ since Season 3, episode 7 scored 2,030,000 on Sunday June 26th 2011. This season has seen great fluctuation in audience totals from the 2.95m who watched the premiere to Sunday’s 2.068m and it’s now averaging 2,464,357 and a demo of 1.22. That’s down 4% in both total audience and demo compared to the same stage last season.

At 11pm Teresa Giudice was joined by fellow Mob Wife (j/k) in Andy Cohen’s WWHL studio, and her fans are not going to be happy how comparatively low this episode rated. Just 1,249,000 viewers tuned in and while it scored the same demo figure (0.60) as the previous four Sunday’s WWHL, its total audience was much lower than when Jacqueline Laurita (1.583m), Kathy Wakile (1.484m), Caroline Manzo (1.471m) & Melissa Gorga (1.392m). Certainly the lower lead-in was a factor and Teresa managed to retain 60% of the viewers who watched WWHL. Only Caroline last Sunday scored higher percentage with 63%. When Teresa was on with husband Joe on June 17th, 2012 she retained 64% of the lead-in audience on her way to being watched by 1.705m
