scored season high ratings this week

This Sunday’s 16th episode of the 4th season of RHoNJ shattered a few records. With a massive 2,980,000 viewers tuning in, it became the highest rated non-reunion episode since Season 2′s finale, which aired almost 2 years ago on August 23rd, 2010, and garnered 3,362,000 viewers. This season’s premiere audience of 2,957,000 was also exceeded although the demo percentage was down 1/10^th. The premiere rated 1.50% of available 18-49 viewers, whereas this week’s episode was watched by 1.40% of that ad coveted demo.

With Andy Cohen off in Croatia, there wasn’t a new episode of WWHL at 11pm but the repeat of this 16th RHoNJ episode aired in its place and pulled in an additional 1,110,000 (0.50 18-49 demo), for a cumulative audience figure over the 2 hours of 4,090,000.

Prior to this episode Season 4′s average had been trending down against season 3 and while it still is down 3.27% if it keeps up ratings like this as the season draws to a close then that gap should be closed. Episodes 17 & 18 of Season 3 had audiences of just under 2.5m and 2.678m respectively and so it’s not impossible for the season average to match last year’s level.

Given these stellar ratings in what has not been a great ratings Summer for Bravo, we’d expect a Press Release to be issued by Bravo PR imminently, and we’ll cover that when it’s issued. (Which by 12:44pm it’s has been – see here)
