The 3rd episode of RHoM saw its ratings fall below the magical one million mark, as just 967,000 people tuned in for the 9pm airing. With it also slipping to a 0.40 in the 18-49 demo percentage, that’s a double season AND series low for the Miami Wives. After three episodes, Season 2 is now averaging 1,019,333 (0.47 18-49 demo) and that’s down -13.86% in total viewers and down -26.32% in the 18-49 demo, when compared with Season 1. With RHoNY currently also showing negative season-on-season ratings, its down -26.32% in the 18-49 demo, what does this say about the Real Housewives franchise as a whole? I guess we’ll have a better idea when RHoA & RHoBH return in November

To put these ratings in perspective, the lowest rated episode of the cancelled RHoDC franchise was its 8th episode, which pulled 1,178,000 viewers. To find a Real Housewives episode that rated below one million viewers, you have to go all the way back to the very first episode of the Atlanta franchise, which through a stroke of bad timing, premiered the same night as the 1st Presidential debate between then candidate Barack Obama and John McCain. It drew 658,000 viewers but grew to 1,184,000 for its second episode.

Celebrating the 300th episode of WWHL at 11pm, Andy Cohen invited Ellen Barkin and Nene Leakes to the clubhouse and with their (or probably just Nene’s) pulling power Andy scored a rare Thursday Cable Top 100 Rating’s ranking, as 791,000 viewers tuned in (18-49 demo 0.30). This was the highest rated Thursday episode of WWHL since Cee Lo Green and Big Ang Raiola appeared on March 15th, 2012 and scored 794,000 and a 0.40 18-49 demo rating
