With the last two episodes of RHoA dropping to 1.20’s in the 18-49 demo it’s beginning to appear that the water cooler sensation that was RHoA is beginning to cool a little. Last Sunday night Lifetime network scheduled an additional complication with the much talked about (derisively, though) telemovie ‘Liz & Dick’ starring Lindsay Lohan starting at 9pm – the same time as RHoA.

Great Camera Deals

Although Lifetime managed to attract 3.5m viewers at 9pm, it only managed to rate 1.0 in the 18-49 demo, as RHoA held for a third week at 1.20 for that demographic with 2,251,000 viewers overall. The last time RHoA scored three weeks of 1.20 in the 18-49 demo, was early in 2010’s Season Three. Against Season Four, this 5th season through four episodes, is trending down -13.60% for its total audience and -18.75% in the 18-49 demographic. Against season three which also started slowly, this current season is however showing audience growth of 11.67% and 6.12% (18-49 demo) respectively.

While it’s true that RHoA is picking up additional viewers who watch repeat airings (the 11.30pm showing, Sunday night attracted 1,093,000 viewers and 0.50 in the demo) or view later on their DVR, the fact that the audience for the first showing is declining may impact the lead-in juggernaut that RHoA has been for other Bravo Media shows. Shahs of Sunset, which last year benefited from having RHoA as its lead-in returns next Sunday for its second season, and perhaps as it has now built some of its own audience, it won’t need to rely on a lead-in boost like freshman series do.

At 11pm, Andy Cohen returned from Thanksgiving to his clubhouse as WWHL aired its 49th episode of its eighth season, yet it would appear that Kenya Moore and Tichina Arnold weren’t able to boost Andy’s ratings by enough for it to score a Nightly Cable Top 100 placement. We’re currently checking our alternate rating sources, but if this is the case, then that’s the first Sunday in months that WWHL ratings have dropped that low. We’ll be back with further updates later.

Lindsay Lohan was terrible in Liz and Dick, i have not heard any of negative buzz about the movie, that’s just my assessment. RHoA has been great so far, better at this early point than previous seasons. People seem to hate Kim’s filthy mouth although Brandi over on RHOBH gets a pass. I think they both need to clean up their language. After all, we are a civilized audience.
