After RHoBH’s record ratings last week, which were good enough for Bravo PR to issue a press release heralding them, the cast of RHoBH proved that their Ojai trip was a ratings bonanza, as their audience held this week at over 2.3m viewers. With another 2,319,000 people tuning in for part two (18-49 demo 1.10), the ladies consolidated their gains over Season Two at the same stage, and are now showing growth of an impressive 11.43% in total audience after five episodes of Season Three.

Bravo Media decided to pull Start ups Silicon Valley from the Monday 10pm time slot where it had averaged 583,500 viewers (18-49 demo 0.30) and replace it with a repeated episode of RHoBH which drew 960,000 viewers with 0.40 in the 18-49 demo. And if the ratings increase in that hour didn’t justify the rescheduling, then the huge uplift it had on Andy Cohen’s ratings for WWHL at 11pm, most certainly did. The three episodes of WWHL that had aired following SUSV’s 10pm airing at 10pm averaged 636,667 viewers (demo 0.27) and Tuesday’s with Taylor Armstrong and Kristin Cavallari, drew 860,000 viewers (demo 0.40); a 35% increase. Given that WWHL scores its best ratings on nights when a Real Housewives franchise airs, it’s imperative that Bravo Media schedule accordingly, and by moving SUSV to Tuesdays at 9pm, they’ve done so.

Simon-do you have the ratings for last nights BH blowup? What is your opinion on the bleeped out fight? Love your site. Karen

Im not really digging Beverly Hills this season.

  9. Tyler says:

I still doubt that Andy understands what it means that his show only does well when it immediately follows a RH show. Anyone could be hosting and do just as well ratings wise.
