Sunday again witnessed what no doubt will be Bravo Media’s strongest night of Nielsen ratings for this week, and that’s despite only one docu-drama airing. Although, it did air three times; as Episode 18 (S05E18) of The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired at 8pm, 9pm & 10pm, before an hour of talk; Watch What happens Live and the debut of the limited run Fashion Queens.
RHoA’s initial airing took a small dip in the 18-49 demo, from last week’s 2,714,000 (demo 1.30) but that’s to be expected when it was repeated at 9pm & 10pm and then again at for a fourth time at Midnight. With 2,747,000 watching the 8pm airing (18-49 Demo 1.20), that moved the season-to-date first run average to 3,069,278 (Demo 1.48) and that’s an increase over Season 4 of 5.30% for the total audience but a reduction of -2.21% in the 18 to 49 year old demo. Adding in the two prime time repeat airings shows their combined audience of 5.49m for the three prime time airings and that’s an increase over last week’s three airings of 5.25m, although, only two of those aired in prime time.
Next Sunday, the 9pm time slot will be taken by the premiere of another Atlanta based show; Married to Medicine, so who’s ready for more Atlantan based shenanigans? What will be interesting. is how well these doctors, OBGYNs & psychiatrists are represented once they are put through Bravo Media’s editor’s lense.
At 11pm, RHoA’s Porsha Stewart was joined by Junee Smollett-Bell (who’s in Tyler Perry’s movie Temptation which opens March 29) and they dropped markedly compared with last Sunday’s WWHL ratings by -10.53%, as only 1,181,000 (demo 0.50) viewers watched.
At 11:30pm Fashion Queens debuted and 881,000 viewers stayed watching after WWHL, which frankly is a pretty good debut for them. Do let us know if you thought this talk show iteration was fun or whether its episodes should be limited to just this one that’s already aired!
Don’t forget that Tina Fey goes Inside The Actor’s Studio tonight Tuesday, March 19th at 8pm. I wonder if she’ll call the RHoNJ sub-human again?

Yes, more Fashion Queens (without that terrible woman as host) and much, much less Andy Cohen!
Fashion Queens should be a permanent stay, it is hilarious and has a good mixture. The girls READ well. It should be on 5 days a week!!
Just stumbled on this site and I have to say that I absolutely LOVEDLOVEDLOVED Queens of Fashion on Sunday night!!! TWO SNAPS UP in a Circle! Not since In Living Color when Damon Wayans and David Alan Grier played Blaine and Toine, the gay movie critics, has there been such an entertaining pair as Miss Lawrence and Derek J. I laughed so hard, I nearly fell out of bed–not sure if that was what they were going for, but it worked for me and I say Bravo to Bravo. Please make this a regular series–it’s better than a lot of the usual content on the network…
I wish he’d take a year or more off!
he does take week-long breaks pretty regularly.
Since wwhl weekly ratings are down significantly, I wonder if it will go back to a night or two a week. There’s just too much Andy on bravo. I’m sure Andy thinks there isn’t enough.
