Bravo Media Reveals The Glitz, Glam and Glory Behind Pageant Life with New Series “Game Of Crowns”

Game of Crowns

Great Camera Deals

The Real Pageant Wives of Connecticut & Rhode Island AKA Game of Crowns was greenlit by Bravo Media over the summer and their press release, printed in full below, was issued on July 24th 2013. I’m not sure how how missed it but this show looks fun!

Featuring six women who live in either Rhode Island or Connecticut and all compete in ‘Mrs’ pageants and have won titles such as Mrs. Nation USA, Mrs. America, Mrs. Rhode Island and Mrs. Connecticut with two of the cast competing against each other in the 2013 Mrs. America Pageant..

Game of Crowns” (working title) is produced by Shed Media US, the same company who produce The Real Housewives of New York City, It’s a Brad, Brad World and Styled to Rock and Pamela Healey and Lisa Shannon serve as Executive Producers.

No news on when this will be hitting Bravo Media’s airwaves but it’s safe to assume it will air sometime in the first half of 2014. My favorite line from the press release has to be “In this world of boobs, botox and butt glue, the women pay top dollar for perfection at any price.”

With Kim Zolciak’s departure from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, practically every show on Bravo Media these days only features one ethnicity, and so it’s a shame that when casting Game of Crowns, Shed Media & Bravo Media weren’t able to take the opportunity of having a mixed race cast again.

BRAVO MEDIA REVEALS THE GLITZ, GLAM AND GLORY BEHIND PAGEANT LIFE WITH NEW SERIES “GAME OF CROWNS” (WORKING TITLE)

NEW YORK – July 24, 2013 – Hold on to your sashes! Bravo Media greenlights “Game of Crowns (working title),” a docu-series that follows six pageant wives whose lives revolve around glamour, perfection and winning at any cost— even if it means competing against their own teenage daughters! These wives and mothers live like royalty with wealthy husbands, grand homes and couture gowns, but they are not satisfied without a title and a crown to top it off. From trophy wives to pageant moms, these ultra-competitive ladies share their love of the game and will stop at nothing to win local and national pageants for beauty queen status. In this world of boobs, botox and butt glue, the women pay top dollar for perfection at any price.

Throughout the season, the ladies will compete to snatch the spotlight while viewers watch their intense preparation that includes obsessing over the perfect swimsuit, working tirelessly with trainers and honing their interview skills with coaches – all while being dedicated mothers and wives. How will the women settle their scores both on the stage and off?

Really like the show as a whole. Shelley and Lorianne are my favs!! But Im fixing to quit watching it because I cant stand that fake voice that Vanassa uses. Its so irritating. She is fake! Im sorry bout the breast cancer but u have beat it! We r over hearing about it. Move on.

  • New England Truth

Looks like another waste of time.

Who cares about women in the forties that are doing pageants. C’mon do we really want to see insecure women compete as for what?

It’s not Mrs America it’s MISS whatever.

    And the cast?

    Lynne’s business ain’t all that.

and Vanessa? If your from the area her husband is not part of any casino dynasty.

Should be more interesting for tabloid.

Does the show make it 1 season? Nope, no way/nada and that is the New England truth.

More fake women who pretend their something that are not.

A show about pageants set in Connecticut and Rhode Island is going to be as exciting as a show about salmon fishing in South Dakota and Nebraska. LOL!
I mean…come on, when you think of pageants, you think of the south.
