The food & cooking genre has formed an extensive part of Bravo Media’s programming since March 8th, 2006 when Katie Lee Joel hosted and introduced us to the first season of Top Chef. That premiere at 11pm, following on from the Second Season finale of Project Runway, attracted an audience of 1.3m viewers of which 932,000 were aged 18 to 49 years. Top Chef which has now aired ten seasons and just been renewed for an eleventh, has spawned three spin-offs; Top Chef Masters (2009), Top Chef Desserts (2010) and Life After Top Chef (2012).
