Last Wednesday night saw Avery Pursell in Uruguay winning the 1st season of Around the World in 80 Plates but the ratings winners of the night were Josh, Josh & Madison. For the first time in the 5th season of Million Dollar Listing – LA, it’s 9pm airing managed to exceed the 1m viewer mark, coming in with a total audience of 1,011,000 and with 0.50 in the 18-49 demo for their 6th episode. While it’s great that they breached one million, the comparable episode in the fourth season pulled 1,181,000 viewers and therefore this latest season is still trending downwards and is averaging 912,667 versus last season’s 1,025,000 at the same stage.

At 10pm the 1st (and only?) season of Around The World in 80 Plates reached its final destination and Avery managed to beat out fellow finalists, Steve ‘Nookie’ Postal and Liz Garrett for the win. What didn’t turn out to be a ratings winner though was this particular show. The final episode was only the third highest rated (out of 10) with 830,000 viewers and 0.30 in the 18-49 demo. Overall the season averaged 750,600 viewers with a 0.34% of 18 to 49 year old’s tuning in. To put that in comparison Chef Roble & Co in its freshman season averaged 1,155,000 with 0.54%, and that would have been a much cheaper show for Bravo to produce.

Bravo Ratings Results for Week July 8 – July 12, 2012

This week the OC Housewives were just pipped at the post, as despite the explosive attack of the birds at Part 1 of the RHOC Reunion, a regular episode of of RHoNJ managed to be the top rated show on Bravo last week. Here’s the full weekly breakdown via Bravo Ratings.

In our projections for this week, we estimated 2.5-2.7m for RHoNJ and it came in at 2.5m. For the MeGo / Iron Mike duel on Sunday’s WWHL we overestimated, thinking that Mike Tyson’s 2m+ Twitter followers would boost Andy Cohen’s audience. It came in at just 1.392m, well short of our 1.5-1.8m range. Read more

Ratings for Wednesday July 11th, 2012 – Million Dollar Listing LA & 80 Plates

Josh Flagg, Madison Hildebrand & Josh Altman

After MDL-LA & 80 Plates shows took a break last Wednesday for the July 4th Independence day celebrations, both shows returned this Wednesday. At 9pm, Million Dollar Listing – Los Angeles, hit a new season low of 841,000 viewers but held steady, as it has through all 5 episodes this season, with 0.40 in the 18-49 demo. The penultimate episode of 80 Plates arrived in Argentina and I’m sure with the dismal ratings this season has garnered, there’ll be certain Bravo execs who will have been crying either in their soup plate or for Argentina. The big ratings news for Cable TV last night was the return of ‘Dallas’ after 20 years but this time on TNT, and how that might impact the other shows. And with the ratings in for ‘Around the World in 80 Plates’ and Million Dollar Listing – Los Angeles, it seem that it had no impact at all.
