Updated Thursday April 17th 2014, after S03E03 of Million Dollar Listing New York premired at 9pm on Wednesday April 16th 2014.

Posting consistent ratings is always a good thing and three episodes in the MDLNY boys are doing just that. Their third episode viewership managed to increase by 117,000 or +11.06% to this week’s 1,175,000 viewers but dropped 23,000 to 545,000 in the 18-49 demographic. Despite that 18-49 demo decline that’s still an increase of 308,000 viewers overall and 127,000 in the younger demo versus the equivalent episode of their second season last year. Season-to-date both the overall viewership as well as the 18-49 demo are up 38.27% and 36.99% respectively over their second season and they will be thrilled with that.

This show has also provided a massive lead-in audience boost for the 10pm show Flipping Out, whose ratings are up 26.63% overall and 30.54% in the 18-49 demo for the three episodes that have aired since MDLNY’s return.

Prior Updates

Updated Thursday April 10th 2014, after S03E02 of Million Dollar Listing New York premired at 9pm on Wednesday April 9th 2014.

After their record breaking premiere ratings last week it’s no surprise that this week the MDLNY boys saw their ratings fall a little. Their second episode viewership fell by 138,000 or -11.54% to this week’s 1,058,000 viewers (568,000 aged 18-49 – demo 0.40), but despite that decline that’s still an increase of 244,000 viewers over the equivalent episode of their second season last year. Season-to-date both the overall viewership as well as the 18-49 demo are up close to 40% over their second season and they will be thrilled with that.

This show has also provided a massive lead-in audience for the 10pm show Flipping Out, whose ratings are up 25% for the two episodes that have aired since MDLNY’s return.

Updated Thursday April 3rd 2014, after S03E01 of Million Dollar Listing New York premired at 9pm on Wednesday April 2nd 2014.

Storming to record premiere ratings the MDLNY boys returned Wednesday garnering 1,196,000 viewers (646,000 aged 18-49 – demo 0.50), almost a 50 improvement over the sophomore season premiere (which aired on May 8th, 2013) and a whopping 60.11% when compared with their freshman season premiere in 2012. Additionally that’s Bravo Media’s highest rated 9pm Wednesday hour so far in calendar year 2014. It’s also provided a massive lead-in audience for the 10pm show Flipping Out, which recorded its best ratings of its seventh season, which until now has been flagging.

Toned Up – Season 1 Ratings

Toned Up Logo

Updated Monday February 10th after S01E07 and S01E08 aired at 10pm and 10:30pm on Thursday, February 6th.

The final two episodes of Toned Up petered out & off Bravo Media’s Thursday night schedule last week, and after the prior week’s 5th episode scored a season high, the finale, which aired at 10:30pm scored a season low. At 10pm 541,000 viewers watched episode seven, some 85,000 fewer than those who had tuned in at the same time last week with 82,000 fewer in the 18 to 49 year age group (326,000 versus 408,000).

As happened in the prior week, as the clock struck 10:30pm many of those who had watched the preceding 1/2 hour switch over as the finale episode S01E08 could only muster an audience of 467,000 overall with 290,000 of those aged 18-49; both being their lowest ratings in their freshman season.

That meant that their season closed averaging 531,750 per episode with just 351,375 of them aged 18 to 49 years, and ratings like those in prime time are no where near the sort of numbers that Bravo Media look for. I’d say based on that, Toned Up will be turfed off Bravo TV’s schedule for good and won’t be returning next year.
