The 5th episode of Love Broker aired at 10pm on Tuesday, August 7th and dropped a further 12,000 viewers versus the previous week’s episode to a dismal audience total of 287,000 with just 0.10 18-49 demo. Although the Bravo Love Broker page still shows an episode 6 airing tomorrow night, August 14th, a quick check of their schedule for Tuesday 8/14 shows that at 10pm a RHoNJ repeat will air instead. It’s official! Love is Broken, or at least Bravo’s love for Lori Zaslow and Project Soulmate and their show Love Broker. Tuesday’s 4th episode of the freshman season pulled a disastrous audience of just 299,000 and 0.1 in the demo. With such a small audience Bravo could seemingly repeat any of a host of shows in their vault and garner much higher ratings (and easily get 0.2 in the demo or higher). If we at Bravo Ratings were betting men, we’d definitely wager a last bet that Love Broker will be pulled from the schedules (again) and if the remaining seasons do get to air they’ll be buried at 3pm weekdays. We’ve said it before and this wasn’t such a bad show, but maybe Patti Stanger really does ‘own’ the matchmaking genre on Bravo and impersonators are treated as imposters, by Bravo’s viewers. The loooooooongest season ever of the Real Housewives of Orange County finally concluded last night as the ‘Lost Footage’ AKA episode 23 of the 7th season aired. Season 6 including two reunion episodes and a lost footage totaled just 16 episodes, and so Bravo got an extra seven hours of original programming out of the RHOC ladies this season. Lost Footage episodes historically don’t rate that well as presumably the footage was ‘lost’ i.e. not good enough for the main season, for a reason. However last night still pulled 1,420,000 viewers with a 18-49 demo of 0.70. The comparable episode of last season garnered 1,530,000, but with all those extra hours that Bravo squeezed out of their Orange County wives, they have no reason to be disappointed. Read more

As was rumored back in March 2012 when Love Broker was pulled from Bravo’s schedules after only getting 0.20 in the 18-49 demo in its first two episodes, Bravo PR announced today it will return to the air at 10pm on Tuesday July 24th. When it first aired it had the 3rd season of Bethenny Ever After as it’s lead in and despite that (or because of it?) it faile to find an audience.
