This week was pretty eventful for Bravo Ratings as RHoBH faced off against Dancing With The Stars, Patti Stanger hit season high ratings and Brad Goreski out-rated his former boss & now arch-nemesis Rachel Zoe. In late night; Sunday’s Fashion Queens debuted strongly, Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live ratings grew 7% week-on-week and even Kathy Griffin came off her season lows.

Without a doubt the biggest news of the week was The Rachel Zoe Project’s ratings falling below those of It’s A Brad, Brad World on Wednesday. Now a source “close to Zoe” has reportedly complained to Radar Online, that this is all the fault of Bravo Executives and stated:

Rachel thinks it was a very calculated maneuver by Bravo to run Brad’s show after hers, and thinks it’s negatively impacting her fashion empire. Brad has been portrayed in the press in a very sympathetic way, and an all around nice guy. Rachel believes that Brad’s show running after hers is just a negative reminder to their bad break-up when he quit working for her to embark out on his own.

Patti Stanger seems to love her Millionaire Matchmaker airing on Tuesdays, as last night’s tenth episode of Season 6 stormed to a ratings season high. 1,415,000 viewers tuned in at 10pm and her 18-49 demo rating of 0.70 matched that for the recently cancelled Smash which aired at the same time over on Big Sister Network NBC.

After Bravo Media moved her show from Thursday’s, were it premiered and aired its first three episodes of this season, it lost a little momentum when it initially moved to Tuesdays and dipped as low as 789,000 (on February 5th). That week’s low ratings as well as those for February 19th, when it scored 821,000 viewers, damaged its season-to-date average but now that Patti’s viewers know MM airs on Tuesdays, the season-to-date average has recovered and now exceeds Season 5 in total viewers by 10.69% and by 4% in the 18-49 demo. With three episodes left this season, Stanger’s viewers are definitely showing a demand for her show and another season will surely be commissioned. Read more

Ratings Slide As Week Progresses
Week Ended Thursday March 14

To call Bravo Media’s Bravo Ratings a weekly slide that starts with the high of The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Sunday at 8pm and ends with the dismal ratings of Kathy at 11:3opm on Thursday, would be an understatement. To be fair, Kathy Griffin having ratings that low at 11:30pm, isn’t as bad as when she was getting similar numbers when she previously held the 10pm time slot. Read more

Sunday nights have long been Bravo Media’s strongest of each week and with their relatively recent schedule change, moving their headline show to the 8pm hour, they continue to rack up phenomenal ratings.

While the initial 8pm airing of RHoA might be taking a little dip in the ratings, the fact that it is repeated just 2 hours later at 10pm and then again at 11.30pm, thus giving choice to viewers to pick their own time slot, it still manages to pull in combined viewership of over 5 1/4 million for its three Sunday airings.

Last Sunday also saw the the final episode of the second season of Shahs of Sunset as Bravo served up the best of the off cuts and other scenes that were screen worthy but didn’t necessarily contribute to the story arc of the season. It scored an audience of 1.36m viewers (18-49 demo 0.60) which given that that was only 100,000 less than its finale episode on February 10th, is a pretty decent rating. Overall this second season averaged 1,928,462 viewers of which 1,155,000 were aged 18-49 and that’s a 50.15% increase over their freshman season. Read more

Updated after the Lost Footage, and final episode of Season 2 aired March 10rd, 2013

After an incredible debut season, where the Persian Prince & Princesses of Shahs of Sunset drew almost 1.3m viewers in their freshman season, which impressively included 64% of its audience or 827,333 people aged 18-49, Bravo Media re-upped Shahs for a second season and the 2nd season’s ratings continued their impressive growth. While certainly benefiting from the strongest programming lead-in Bravo has to offer (RHoA), the season two premiere doubled the audience of their freshman premiere with 2.298m viewers. With just the second part of the reunion left to air on March 3rd, this season has averaged just under 2m in total audience and almost 1.2m aged 18-49 and that’s growth of 55% & 45% respectively. And with that Ryan Seacrest can be assured he’ll ink a third season, for his production company. Read more
