Last night, the finale of the second season of Pregnant in Heels aired and what better way to end the season, than with a new beginning from the host herself, as Rosie Pope and husband Daron welcomed their new daughter Vivienne. Sadly though and largely due to a scheduling change by Bravo executives to boost the flagging 5th season of RHoNY, only 633,000 viewers tuned in and that was the second lowest ratings of this 2nd season. Last week 815,000 viewers tuned in and so that drop of 182,000 was presumably not worth the 95,000 that RHoNY gained Monday by switching the RHOC Reunion part 2 from Tuesday to Monday.

Bravo Ratings for Tuesday July 3rd, 2012 – Pregnant in Heels & RH Top 20 Reunion
Poor ol’ Rosie Pope faced a double whammy from the Bravo TV schedulers this week. First they let her 8th episode of Pregnant in Heels be the sole Bravo original programming to air on July 4th eve, and instead of its usual strong lead-in (RHOC) it only had a ‘Social Edition’ of a Real Housewives’ clip show – The Real Housewives Top 20 Reunion Moments – which had first aired on June 21st.

Bravo Ratings for Tuesday June 26th, 2012 – RHOC, Pregnant and WWHL
Last night the 2nd part of the finale of RHOC aired and it had a tall order in trying to beat the stellar ratings garnered by season six’s finale. When that first aired in June 5th, 2011 it scored RHOC’s best ever ratings with 2,875,000 tuning in, and it scored 1.40 in the 18-49 demo. On Tuesday night, the 2nd part of the two part finale did break 2.5m for the first time this season, as 2,504,000 (1.30 18-49) tuned in to see the demise of Tamra & Vicki’s friendship. This pushed the 7th season average up to 1,945,500 and 0.98 in the demo. That’s a total audience growth compared with the regular season 6 episodes of 2.43% however there was a slight drop in the coveted ad buyers demo from 1.04 down to 0.97 – a reduction of 5.63%. However, with that consistency of audience numbers, it’s safe to say that with numbers like that, that we’ll get to see the OC wives back on Bravo TV’s screens, sometime in 2013. The full 7th season ratings can be found here.
